If you’ve read some of the past titles I’ve read you may have picked up on the fact that I am a fan of science fiction.  Yet the question of what makes something “true” science fiction is one that hangs over any discussion of the genre.  In truth this topic plays into a broader question of what makes a genre?  Where does a genre begin and end?  Why are these even important or difficult questions?

To add to the discourse of this topic, I implore you dear reader, to consider these questions over the next month.  I will be back at the end of the month to discuss my own take as well as anything else that has arisen of interest on the subject.
